The East Central Kansas Economic Opportunity Corporation (ECKAN), a community action agency and has been serving low-income customers since 1966. ECKAN provides services such as emergency assistance, food pantry, Baby Bucks, Kids' Closet, Keep Dreaming Mattress Program, Case Management, School Supplies, Christmas Bureau, Head Start, Early Head Start, Weatherization, Rental Housing in LeRoy & Waverly, and Section 8 Housing Vouchers.
